From API key to a guest online in under a minute. Here's the whole flow — first the four steps, then the real thing on an iPhone.

1. 1

   Enable the Integration API

   In your UniFi console, open Settings → Control Plane → Integrations and create an API key. That key is all the app needs — no account, no cloud.

   Connect the app

   Tap “Scan network” and the app finds your controller automatically (or type its IP). Paste the API key — it goes straight into your device keychain.

3. 3

   Create a voucher

   Pick validity, guest limit and data cap — or use a one-tap preset like “Day pass”. The voucher is created on your controller in about a second.

4. 4

   Hand it to your guest

   Share the code by message, show a scan-to-join QR, or print voucher cards. The guest connects to the hotspot, enters the code, and is online.
